When Will Marksheets Be Dispatched?
June TEE: Students who appear in the June Term-End Examination in any year receive their marksheets after August/September.
December TEE: Students who appear in the December Term-End Examination in any year receive their marksheets after February/March. Therefore, the students who appeared in the December 2025 TEE will start receiving their marksheets from the coming month, i.e., March.
Which Students Will Receive The Marksheets?
IGNOU students who successfully pass all subjects in a Term-End Examination will be provided with their marksheets. Therefore, all students who have passed every subject in the December 2025 TEE will have their marksheets dispatched from the march month.
Please note, dear students, that your marksheets will be dispatched to your registered address. So, all students are advised to check whether their address is correct or not.
How To Check The IGNOU Marksheet Dispatch Status 2026
- To check the IGNOU marksheet dispatch status, students must first visit the “Return of Degree/Marksheet” page (https://onlineservices.ignou.ac.in/idms/login_certificate.aspx).
- As soon as students visit this portal, they need to enter their university roll number and program code there.
- After that, the dispatch status will be displayed. If a date is shown in the status, it means your marksheet has been dispatched from IGNOU’s head office through Speed Post. You will also be given a Speed Post tracking number there, which you need to copy.
- After copying the IGNOU marksheet tracking number, students must visit the India Post website and enter the tracking number to check the live delivery status of their marksheet.
What To Do If My IGNOU Marksheet Does Not Arrive?
If your marksheet has not been delivered even after 45 days from March, there may be some reasons behind it, which we have mentioned below, along with their solutions:
Reason 1: Wrong Address: The most common reason for IGNOU marksheet non-delivery is an incorrect address.
Solution: Please reconfirm whether you have registered the correct and accurate address with IGNOU University. You can check your address through the IGNOU admission status portal. After confirming, you should email IGNOU University to request re-dispatch of your marksheet. The official email IDs are provided below.
Reason 2: Postal Delay: Sometimes, postal services work slowly, which may delay the delivery of your marksheet.
Solution: Visit your nearest post office and confirm whether any document has arrived from IGNOU University.
